The Bitch in my head needs to go.

 I worked hard for this race and after some serious nerves I allowed myself to be pretty proud of the time. In fact I think I may have let out a little "yes" and a smile when I ran across the finish line and saw that time. Damn it!!
So when the email came out that 700 photos of the race were released I scoured them. There was not an option to search for my bib so I literally went through 700 photos and got these 2.
First reaction to the bottom one? Save it for me but do not tag yourself on Facebook. Fat. Too embarrassed.

I am being ridiculous. I remember running behind a woman with some junk in her truck and thinking Go Girl!! Size does not matter. We can all have muscles under that fat to move mountains.
Yet here I am looking at this photo and missing the whole big giant picture.
I can hear people say things, in fact I have a good amount of support around me but in my head sometimes is the toughest critic. She is a bitch and she needs to go. I am talking the talk but not always believing it.
Instead I should be hearing....
You are running.
You did it while most people were still home in their pajamas.
That junk in your trunk is a power house to get you over the hills.
Go Girl!!

I am also in a pull back place this week. I feel it and I am letting it take it's course. I am aware I do this occasionally just before I take off on a growth spurt again.
