April Vacation wrap up.

These last 2 days have been busy, busy, busy!
My ultimate goal was to clean the girls rooms. My own ADD has gotten me to a point where I am overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Well I started with sleeping until 9ish, loaded up on caffeine and just dove in with a large trash bag in hand.
I tackled Olivia's room the 1st day and then we ditched the house. Vacations aren't for cleaning alone. They have been asking me to take them to the "Castle" playground so I packed some snacks and took them to the West Barnstable Elementary school. You would be surprised how just a change in scenery can be fun and free. This school has a large playground that loos like a castle and a for current metal one around the corner.

 In trying to follow my last post I will add that I decided to walk the perimeter of the playground while they did all this crazy play. It amounted to 35 minutes and included a couple of hills. My muscles were pulsing as we pulled out so I must have done some good work.
Ava and I had a good date after this. The Conservatory had an event called - Not a Box. We were told to bring a box and they would supply additional supplies.

 They had tons of sticky paper, extra boxes, string, stickers and all the equipment needed to cut, glue and tape our project.
Ava decided she was making an Alligator house. In the end it had a string to hang and a chimney with smoke coming out. It is pretty cool.

 She left with her cool house, a certificate that she made a project and a copy of the book " Not a Box". Awesome free event and a great date with Ava Flava.
