Sure, from space.
We are preparing here at work with overtime and double people on the desk. If the shit hits the fan we will be expected to have all the answers, resources and miracles to help those that didn't prepare. Well even if you did prepare Mother Nature can still give you a sucker punch you weren't expecting.
My preparation will be to cook some food, make plans for a safe place for the kids to stay and come to work.
Talking to my best friend the other day reminded me that my prep is different than most.
You go out to the store and buy bread, canned raviolis and candles. Then batten down the hatches and climb out from the fallen tree branches when it is over.
I usually send my kids to Gramma's house as they have camping supplies and a generator and prepare for work. I have been lucky enough to dodge the bullet and not be stuck here but you always have to plan for the what if's.
Make sure I have a candy stash, my toothbrush and COFFEE and I will be prepared for anything.
