Busy as a Beaver

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You might think that what you need is a comfortable ride and some easy-going companionship. But what you really need is an obstacle to conquer, which is just what you'll get.

First, this is just typical. I have been trying to make my life a more comfortable, easy-going ride. That means I need to learn how to down shift and just be still. That sounds easy for most people. Me, not so much. I can barely sit through a whole movie. I can be doing 20 things while I watch that Disney film so I am up loading or unloading the dishwasher, doing laundry or just general cleaning.
I am getting an itch already about all this idle time I have at night once the kids finally go to bed. I had something to do last night and tonight and the girls are already on my case.
"Mom, I thought you were working mornings so you could be with us all of the time?"
Yes, I am.
"Well how come you are so busy?"
We are busy because it is a tight schedule now before and after work.
"No Mom. You are like busy all these nights now."
BUSTED-by a 7 year old.

I decided not to do anything else this week because I already had these 2 nights planned.
Except, to make up for the "Mom, you're too busy" I plan on taking the kids out Friday after school for costume shopping. This should be a trip. I think we are shopping for a vampire girl and some type of super hero as long as it involves a mask and muscles-stay tuned.

Couple more life tid-bits:
Ran this morning. After 2 pushes of the snooze button I hauled my still sleeping butt out onto the road and got in another 2 miles. Cut my time down from 30 min to 28:25 and ran most of it. I guess I have verbally confirmed I will be running a race at Edaville in November. I wanted to be a part of a Thanksgiving Day race but on the new schedule I will be at work.  Not worried there are plenty of others on the weekends.
Also, I am going to the 1st of the 2 classes that are required to file for divorce. Next Thursday I have the 2nd class and also I scored a free 30 minute appointment with a lawyer to go over the paperwork I have done and make sure it is complete to file.
Beginning of the end.

I just can't bring myself to get up and hit the road. I am a terrible, TERRIBLE morning person.

Nice beaver, BTW.
