Life is an Illusion

This photo came up on Facebook a few days ago and at first I just looked at it not understanding it's meaning but slowly I came to understand what it means to me.
Girlfriend, you can't look at social media and compare. You just can't.
Very few people post anything but their best days, biggest adventures and happiest smiles.
Some of course talk about the worst but only to gather up your support when they can't pick themselves up.
Last week I was just feeling like I was not where I want to be, doing what I want to be doing or as far off as I'd like to be.
By the time I came to this page to write I have pretty much processed it and moved on but I thought I would share the funnies that came out of my thinking.
First, I would like to point out that the upper left has a box of the 4000's foot mountains I have climbed. Granted it's only 7 but I think it's pretty cool. That doesn't even include the flat land adventures. I also have a pretty decent amount of stuff on my calendar it just happens to be the boring month of March-between Winter and Spring is a blah kind of place every year.  
Second, decided to get a handle on my finances. Planned a budget. Now just sitting here feeling poor. Well it's day 3 and I need to basically work and pay bills for the rest of my life so patience would help here.
Third, would like to change my parenting. I want to feel better about how I do this. Can't change your kids or your own attitudes and practices overnight so basically patience and slow deliberate changes are the only thing that are going to help here.
Forth, want to have big adventures but physically, financially and time-wise challenged right now. Only way to change these things are to keep working, make small changes that will add up to big changes and remember your life is the best adventure you have and need.
Stop comparing.
That is the biggest mistake.
