The Knob

Are you tired yet? I am just from typing and remember these adventures. Remind me not to put off the typing part for so long.
This face is funny but funnier if you could hear the anticipatory whining to go with it.
Mom, are we there yet!!!

We have been to the Knob like a million times, in all Seasons and it will always be my favorite. Today I took it slow. I searched the beach for anything that was different. Winter affords you that as people aren't picking over every square inch and with all the grey different colors can jump out if you keep your eyes open.

We made out way down the left side and onto the beach. Once back onto solid group I was reminded how the island has all these weird crooked trees. The kids love to climb them and they make me think of Dr. Suess.

Today I even took these stairs down as the tide was low. I have never come this way and was amazed at the color of each step. The pictures don't do any of it justice.


This will be hung in my house very soon. I stack these 4 rocks because they were gorgeous and just as I took the picture I realized I had the perfect backdrop too.



Once in the open beach we sat, played and looked at the sky. I attempted to make a sand angel even but she thought it was a game and jumped right in as soon as I got up.
We may have to take it slower with her now as we work on managing the pain in her hips but this was a perfect day for me and she had no complaints after her nap.
