Yard Work, Oh how I love thee.

This mess has needed some attention for quite some time. The bushes haven't been touched since I moved in. We are talking Oct 2012. I wasn't sure I could or how or it I would mess it all up but the fact is the holly bush on the end was growing shoots over the the top of the window.
I started as soon as the kids left on the bus and got the lawn mowed front and back.
Phew! we needed that for sure.
Next I decided to borrow a weed whacker and some hedge trimmers from Grampa. That made all the difference in the world. I was able to clean up around the swing set and all the edges. Even though the lawn has been mowed the edges were scrappy and about a foot tall so it still looked like crap. Also you couldn't even get around the play house due to about 2 feet of grass. Now it is all cleaned up.

I cleaned up under the bushes and tried to cut up the underside to make it easier to keep clean.
I am pretty happy with it and the house looks way less welfare now.
