I have been looking, leaving messages, scouring the Internet to find us a counselor. Someone to give Ava a hand with what troubles her and now someone to help Olivia with her anxiety and whatever else she has bottled up.
We have tried a few an they just didn't work out. I understand that a counselor with ADHD might be able to help my 2 but when we waste time repeating life facts because you are disorganized or forgot it just isn't helpful.
The last message I left was met again with a "I am full and can't take new patients" BUT my colleague in the same office is.
What, what you say?
My phone call was actually answered by a live person and yes she had room for us.

I liked her voice and she laughed. I had a good feeling in my gut.
Both girls saw her yesterday and liked her. She gathered some info from me and background.
I liked her.
More importantly - they liked her. Ava wanted to know when she was going back and Olivia said she liked her better than the other people she had talked to.
Also she sees them alone. That is important. How to you talk about your Mom pissing you off when she is sitting right there?
I am hoping this is a step in the right direction. It certainly feels right.
