I made it again this year. Sadly I will say it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I miss the back in the day shows which made me in awe of the Spring smells and the magic created in plants.
I fell in love with this owl made from silverwear only to find out it was there last year. Boohoo! I don't remember it.
The plantings just all felt canned. Like I clearly saw potted plants stuck in the ground. I remember the past when you could walk through and feel like the stuff had been growing there naturally.
Yeah, not this year.
There was also no big pop. There is always a grab your attention, wow. Take 100 photos at al angles.
Nope. See the cakes and some decorated bikes? They were small things and all that I was wowed by. Water features have been done, over and over. Birds, been there done that too.
I left with more earrings from my favorite jewelry maker. Every year I come just for him. Nothing fancy but by the time I get here I am down to 1 in each pair.
I think next year I should at least take the T. I could have at least saved $17 in parking.
