When I originally found out about this new 4H group I thought is would be great for Ava as she loves animals so much and how else could I expose her to what she loves. It was every Saturday for the Summer and now that it is chilly this family has done their best to keep a monthly meeting going to expose them to the harvest and Winter activities of a farm.
Saturday they had a family Christmas party with some crafts and a snacks but the weather was so beautiful most of the kids stayed outside. I mean who wouldn't want to chase chickens and pet goats in December.
Although this group first started for ages 5-7 I am really hoping she is able to stay in it or find something similar.
Better late than never our friends the Guay's came and I got to see their very new and cute baby. Brody and Ava decorated cookies and mostly just licked frosting.
Meet Cowboy. The gentlest and most forgiving dog with 15 screaming kids all afternoon. He deserved a personal shout out for putting up with us.
