This picture should explain the decision to finally get rid of this POS. I am not sure what was more frightening-Driving the Durango and hoping it didn't break down or taking a risk and buying a new car.
After this day I had pretty much decided.
This turned out to actually not be a serious issue. I had a slow leak, which went flat and I thought I could limp it to a gas station to fill it.
Nope. Tire ends up off the rim and I ride to work with the tow driver.
This car was is the final step for me. Can I buy a car after the bankruptcy?
It was not a car I picked but picked for me by the dealer to fit my financial situation.
Funny but I love it. It's a great car. It is more than I paid for my previous car but I have already saved the difference in 2 tanks of gas.
I am super happy, proud of myself and nervous.
I am happy as well that I have a more normal loan so that I can start to up my credit score. The last loan was only reported to 1 credit agency and when I applied for this car I found out that they hadn't even reported a payment since last April. Gee, Thanks!
All I need now is a fresh new beach sticker on my windshield!
Oh, Like my present from Bonnie? A custom made FB sticker. Love it and her for thinking of me.
