There were a few 1st and I did not like them.
It was out first year of having Christmas alone, just the 3 of us.
I had to work and dropped them with their Dad as soon as they were done opening presents.
Not the way it is supposed to be but it is the way it is. Someone needs to be on the other end of the phone when it rings and maybe I can get it together enough to take some time off next year.
Being a grown up sucks sometimes.
I did have a great morning with my girls. Ava loved her doll, her hamster and her Bat cave. Olivia is psyched about the barbie house, tablet and hamster. I am happy I was able to give them what they wanted and to see their smiles.
I am lucky to have them in my life. It is just 1 day in their lives and I hopefully have many more.
6 days off now to cuddle, laugh, adventure and play. In other words recharge my Mama tank.
