Hot Date

Saturday was a busy day! I had a bunch of stuff to do with the kids so I took it off. We had a good time at school where they set up an indoor Mini golf course to raise money to replace the 3rd and 4th grade playground equipment. My girls each(well me actually) sold 70 tickets and I was told the school sold 5000 total so they were able to purchase the double slide which costs $5800 thanks to all our friends and family who bought tickets, golfed and sponsored a hole.

In the afternoon Olivia had a sleepover/girlfest so I took Ava to the Mashpee Police vs Mashpee High Hockey game. She claims to be a hockey fan because her teacher is a big Bruins fan so I figured she would have fun. After we went to Zoe's to get some dinner and it was then, with her and I seating up on the stools, that I realized we have spent very little time like this now that she is getting to be a big girl. I had a terrific time and we need to do it again so I thanked her for being a terrific date and she reminded me that we had never been on a date before.
Good 1st dates are hard to find but she will surely get a second one.
