God I love them. I still feel a little catch in my throat when they get on that bus and go off on their own for the day. I won't see them until tomorrow morning now.

Picture day
Because the 1st WEEK of school rained everyday I was stuck with crappy photos that included raincoats, sweatshirts and the dreaded eye patch.
Today was picture day so I actually had 2 girls with brushed hair, nice dresses and smiles they practiced at breakfast. It was pretty funny to see Ava in a dress but she is a girl under that gruff exterior. Of course she paired that dress with cowboy boots. I have to find the photo of Olivia in the same dress so we can compare.
We also always take photos at the street sign while we wait for the bus. Today looks like a job interview for a job I had hoped they would avoid if I paid for college.
