Nana Makeover

Not on my list of things to do this week was a complete bed swap for the peeps that live on the first floor but it got done today and I am pleased with the results. If you can follow, my sister got a new bed, so my Mom said well I will take your daybed and get rid of this futon I am sleeping on. This all sounds wonderful until you start this project. First we had to take the futon out of my Mom's room and that was a nightmare-small room, to hallway dumped into kitchen for now. Next we tackled cleaning the floor and vacuuming out the cobwebs and such and then we re-arranged it all so the day bed would fit. We painted a place that has been plaster for about 4years, hung her new super cool hot pink curtains and hooked up her TV and DVD player. I forgot a photo but it looked awesome. We never told her so she came home to it as a surprise. When I got my Good Night call the girls were all happily hangin' in Nana's room watching TV. It may be the next big thing in our house.

After this we moved onto getting Chelsea's "big bed" rolling which she did most of the work. I just threw her bed in and she fixed it all up to look like a giant marshmallow bed.
So although it was not on the list of things it was a great improvement for all my family and a great way to say Thanks for all the things Nana does for us.
