I am addicted.
I thought I would never be a FB person. If fact I couldn't really even figure it out in the beginning. Now I am a loser who knows about peoples lives from Facebook posts. It is usually funny little tidbits that make me laugh. I enjoy keeping in touch with people I live too far away from and sharing quirky photos of the kids.
Never did I image some of the bad stuff that would come from it. As everyone knows I am going through a divorce and I actually had to walk away from Facebook to avoid the drama and crazy talk I was receiving. I still get a random comment when someone reads about Mr. FB but I just say-I don't want to hear it. "Back in the day" before you knew about every thought and movement I think things were much easier.
Basically the Internet has become a weapon for people in my situation. Luckily I have not had to deal with this too much myself. I just have to deal with the gossip mill which is in high gear in our area because it is such a small town.
On the flip side, I have connected with some people which have brought me some laughs and entertainment so I guess there is a good and bad side to everything. So if you want to share some laughs, chat away with me but if you plan on bringing your swill take it somewhere else.
