Girlfriends Rock!!

Today was a day full of girlfriends.
I started out my day by driving Bonnie to work and forgetting to go to Town Hall as we were chit chatting away. Oops-Sorry.
A couple of days ago I had made some loose plans to go to the Teaticket Playground with the Nanny of the day, Miss Wendy so we headed over to her house to see what was up.
God, I walked into her house and just hugged her. When the Hell does school start?!?!?
I love my kids but please get away from me.
It was exactly what I needed. I have a multifaceted personality and all of my friends reflect a different side of it. Today I needed Wendy-Lu's words of wisdom. **Wink**
She got it and I was glad.
After the best PB&J lunch we loaded all 6 kids into her car (Thanks! I drove in total silence and alone) to go to Teaticket School to check out the new Firetruck playground. Good Job DPW and Teaticket School we needed the upgrade. I don't have any current pictures but this is one stolen from their Facebook Page while still under construction.
What is up for tomorrow?
Something to keep these kids busy for just 20 more days.
The Cupcake Cavern is coming along well. I had to buy 2 gallons of paint as I forgot I would be painting the ceiling as well. It looks good. The color is Titanium. I have made a promise to myself at the suggestion of a friend that this will be GROWN UP space and no toys or pictures of Sponge Bob will be allowed. My oldest daughter is making some crazy suggestions about hanging pink streamers. She also picked out a paint color that was straight up Magenta-Ummmmm....NO! As a last ditch effort she comes upstairs with 3-4 rolls of crazy girly wrapping paper and says all I need is glue sticks. Ummmm.... Again, NO!
I have to get moving as the plans keep coming in but the room is far from done. Dad has started packing up his stuff from the garage downstairs and will be hopefully packing what's left upstairs soon. If not, I am a really good packer, I used to work for a truck rental company.
I have to admit it was a little strange to come home from work last night and look at empty cabinets with the doors all hanging open like I was robbed or something. One step at a time.

I have to say been long time since we chatted but I absolutley enjoyed talking and hanging with my BFF.We have to do it more.
