Rain, rain go away and it did for the most part. I was all ready to ditch this trip if the rain proceeded the way it had over the last 2 days. A co-worker told me about this awesome 1 day sale of $10 tickets and the only local concert was the Jonas Brothers so I would have only been out $40 if we didn't go.

The sun started to pop out so we were going. After dinner at Chili's we headed to the Comcast Center under increasing clouds and on and off rain. When we arrived all the signs said "No Blankets" but we stuffed trash bags to sit on in Nana's purse as we only had lawn seats and I expected it to be a mud pit. Luckily as we arrived they were telling lawn people we could sit in the last 6 rows of seats.

You can imagine the shenanigans after this bag of cotton candy was consumed. Oh and above is their best gangster face. Ava was a crazy dancing fool while Olivia was more on the reserved side. When asked if she would dance she actually looked shy. Surprise!!

As the night went on with all the other singers and dancers involved in Camp Rock my girls started to wind down. The cotton candy started to wear off and they began to ask about going home. Um, the Jonas Brothers haven't come out yet. That is OK.

It is getting dark you know?
I know this concert is going to go on in the dark.
Well, I am afraid of the dark.
So I double checked that everyone had a good time- Yes, Mama.
We were out!

On the way to the car we passed many parents sitting in their cars waiting for the teens they must have dropped at the door. Funny, I never expected that but we noted quite a few cars with their windshield wipers on. Nana and I commented to one that they had made a wise choice-LOL!
So in the end we missed the Jonas Brothers by minutes. Just as I was securing everyone in their car seats and tucking dry blankets and pillows around them the audience exploded in screams.
No matter, as I am learning that it is only important to me if it is important to them. They had a great time at their first concert so that means so did I.
