I parked at a friend's house who lived close because not only did I not run I was too lazy to walk far to get to the sidelines. When I got to her house she asked if I missed it-Hell NO! I say. It is hard and long and I might die are the thoughts running through my head.
So I walked the 2 blocks or so to the side lines......and yes, I did miss it. My heart raced as I saw the people at about mile 5 making it. Some looked good, some looked bad but they were doing it while I stood there in my running shoes holding up the street sign.
I have put this on the back burner, more like in the back yard. I honestly wouldn't even know where to start. It is going to be at the beginning and that ticks me off. I have been here before and it is a long road.
It didn't help that a small announcement for a 5K race coming up was slipped silently on my desk just a few minutes ago.
