Got nuthin' done today

I hate that feeling.
I did get some things done but nothing that feels like - Viola~ Done!
One of the big things was to get 2 portable air conditioners my Mom bought out of the box and running. I used a saw like a big girl and got the living room hooked up. Chelsea's room was another story that involved a bit of duct tape but I will never speak of that again. Let's just say I will be replacing those stupid casement windows as fast as I can earn the money.
I also was thinking if I continue to want to do boy projects I am going to need a truck. Something BIG like I used to drive in high school. Can't feel scared in a monster truck right?
This isn't the truck but it looked similar to this. My other car would definitely need to be a VW bug to balance myself out.
Anyway the regular car I am currently driving got cleaned out and boy did it need it. Crap, I just remembered the girls washed the windows and I didn't redo them. I will be driving with my head out the window on the way home from work tonight for sure.
I did sit on the couch with the girls watching Hannah Montana and wishing the AC worked faster. I guess that accounts for something as well.
I spent some time thinking about the living room project and how crazy I am for thinking I can handle that. I am not prepared enough. I tried out some steel wool on the mantle and in places the finish just rubbed off so that is a good sign. I am just worried I am going to jump into painting half the walls and then hit a place where I can't get any help and I am living in a war zone. At this point I think I am going to work on the mantle, little by slow, removing the varnish and priming it. I have the supplies for this so it will be another project of just elbow grease for now.
I forgot to mention the top color is going to be Cassius. I tried to copy the color from the website but it wouldn't let me steal it-DRAT! I would describe it as a dusty plum. I was going to try a barn red but that just scared me to death. Would I own that red forever? It is also a small room and I want to brighten it up and I am hoping by changing all the trim to white I can give it the illusion of BIG! or maybe just medium.
