It was a bit hectic but it is all in the name of fun.Friday night Bonnie and I went out and got all the fixin's to make Mother's day bonnets for us girls. See, we had plans to go to the Coonamessett Farm for the Mother's Day Tea. I think they came out awesome and now my house is decorated with hats on every wall. They were just too beautiful to put away.

I got to wake up to much love from the girls and some pretty cool gifts. This little gem is a solar gazing ball but also an owl so I love it. We turned on the solar pack in the morning and when I came home it had the whole dining room glowing. Now to find a place for it in the garden.
The Tea was great. The kids got to order from the menu but all us Mom's got to feast on a salad of fresh greens, a plate of quiche, a mushroom tart, salmon twirl and crab toast. For dessert a plate of goodies which we shared with the girls. If it had been warmer I could have stayed all day. It was a terrific girls day out and I believe we all looked beautiful in our hats.
