
Food.Blah, blah, blah. Same mistakes repeated.
Well I am starting my 3rd day without eating grain-meaning bread/pasta/crackers.
Oh, I lie already last night I ate 6 crackers with cheese but that is all.
I have been investigating my 'issues" and it seems like the only way to control my weight, low blood sugar and no energy is to cut out most grains.
It makes lunch interesting because after salad I start to drift off and want a PB and Fluff sandwich so it will be a long battle and I expect to be posting about my stumbles and falls again and again.
That's Life I guess.
I will say I have not tested my sugar since this change. I have been tired but I am chalking that up to honest exhaustion and the change over in diet usually makes me a bit sluggish.
This morning I am noshing on cottage cheese with fresh blackberries on top. Can't beat that!

I started using veggies in place of chips/crackers for cheese and hummus. Sliced cukes or carrot & celery sticks for example.
When we switch shifts, I'll loan you the book I just read.....
