Days off


I am usually quiet for a couple of days as I don't really get a chance to be on the computer at home. I get back to work Saturday and have 40 emails and Facebook responses. It is a good way to pass a quiet Saturday night.
Today, after years on this shift I have a faint feeling that this shift is beginning to suck. I mean it is the first day of my week but the heart of the weekend for everyone else. Thursday is my 1st night off but it usually goes by like any regular day as I still have to do the school, kid, life thing at the normal schedule. I feel more like my days off are Friday and Saturday until 3pm. I am currently scheming a plan where I live off my comp time-meaning I use comp for a day here or there needed for odd things and I try to save all of my vacation time so I can have some fun. If I can get my ass in gear I plan on still taking a week off over 4th of July but I would like to make some Summer weekends LONG! We have no real plans and Mr. FB doesn't have too much more vacation time after the 1st week trip so we need to use the weekends to do anything. We will see how this works if I can keep banking them up.
