Today was the day to clean up after the yard sale but it got to a late start.
Dad took over and I slept until .....ready for this.....11:40am. I know, that is like afternoon. I would normally have made breakfast, lunch, 3 loads of laundry, vacuumed and biked by now. Instead I rolled back over and snored. It was perfect.
When I got into the shower he got into bed and napped himself as we traveled to the bank and grocery store. This is the secret to a happy life.
I had to step it up into overdrive to get the tornado back to semi-order but the dishes got washed, the piles got put away and the laundry was at least swirling around the washer by the time I left. He was left with the task of bed making and emptying the dishwasher but he can handle that.
We had a pretty successful yard sale I guess. We dropped some odds and ends off at a local Thrift store and I posted some large items on Craig's List. We have already gotten some bites so soon we will be a little lighter in the clutter department-Can't complain about that.
Tomorrow is another no school day so I am hoping to get out with the kids for a picnic or something on our bikes.
