I want to run smoothly and not dread it. I know this will come with time but I am doing probably too much for my out of shape body so today I am bitching.
On a good note I got in my 2.1 miles-slower pace but jogged the whole distance. I just found an article about finding your pace and that will help you have a more comfortable run. I am such a Newbie I am not sure I even know what my pace is or how to find it but I think tonight I may read about it a little. I am also happy to report although I am breathing hard in the end my recovery is fast-like the "I am going to die" feeling at the end passes relatively quickly. Soon I hope to not have that feeling at all but I guess I wouldn't be pushing myself if I didn't.
Tomorrow is my cross day so I am hoping to steal the old man's truck and get to the bike path with my bike and trailer. Biking around here is a bit scary with my child in the back so I need to find a safe place where I can get some riding done.
Hopefully the day will get better now that the beast is taking a nap-Boy can she kick my butt!!
