I had been running every other day trying to get these first few weeks over with. You are supposed to take 2 days off between weeks so my plan was to do that and start week 3 yesterday but by the time I had any time it was raining. I am always an easy quitter so today I was hellbent on getting out there before Captain Lazy took over and I was back sitting my ass on the couch. I bundled up Ava and we were off.
Not a problem on the way down-90 seconds jogging, 90 seconds walking.
3 minutes jogging, 3 minutes walking then repeat.
I was on the second 3 minutes of running when I got to the end of the road and I turn back-
BAM! I am heading right into the wind and it is pushing and cold. I had to stop and rebundle baby girl and we trudged on. The other downfall is this is a few minutes shorter than the last few weeks so I was done and still a ways from the end of my 2 mile circle so I decided to end with an alternate of 2 minutes walking and 2 minutes jogging.
So the end result is 2 miles in 25 minutes with massive resistance BUT more importantly we are onto week 3 and onto longer running.
Crazy but I say that like it is a good thing.

Doing better than me. I can't get outside/ hit the treadmill but it isn't the same. Plus between last week (stomach) and this week (sinus) I am seriously missing out. Keep up the great work.
Ha! Sometimes I think I must be the world's worst parent by pushing my kid in a stroller while I run in a wind storm. I get lots of evil looks. It builds character for the kid I say.
It was really tough running in Tucson what with all the sunshine, dry air (9% humidity) and accommodating drivers, but I managed.
