Do you see these?
I have resigned myself to the fact that I am going to have weeds. My best Farmer friend tells me he has weeds and he doesn't even fight them so I figure -What the Hay! (Get it? A little Farmer joke there.) I think I am going to get one of those nifty weed eater thingies, as seen below, and just mow them over.

Anyway, back to the real point of my story. I go out and pick a few weeds a day to maintain a non-jungle in my garden. I blew it off for a few days and when I returned I found a bunch of weeds that are pretty tall, healthy and tomato plant looking. I picked a bunch of the small ones and smelled them. They even smell like tomato plants. I decided to let the good, healthy ones go and see what the hell is going on. Being a big CSI fan, I have investigated the clues and all I can figure is either someone threw an old tomato into the compost pile which I then pitchforked into my garden or it is from last years plants which we just rototilled in last Fall.
In any case I went from 5 plants to about 15 and we may be opening a tomato stand on the lawn in a month or so.
Also the squash and cucumber plants are growing well and I even have a teeny-tiny green pepper coming in. I threw in 2 corn plants for fun and they are doing pretty well also.
And that is the Garden update form East Falmouth.
