Happy Birthday Ava!

She wanted a party at Chuck E.Cheese and a party she got!
It turned out to be better than I expected. We did not book the overpriced birthday package and that had it's ups and downs but in the end we had a terrific time and I think everyone else did too. Chuckie came out to wish all the kids a Happy Birthday but we weren't an official Birthday so I took her over to see him and she lost interest real fast. After all the songs and hoopla he walked thru the rest of the place so she did get a picture with him in the end.
We kept it small with just close family and friends and it worked out just fine. She got some terrific presents too-Thank You to everyone.
I want to say it was a perfect day as our first family event since all the changes. If we can keep this up we will do alright. She got to have her grandparents, parents, cousins and friends all celebrating her day and having fun.
They are spending their first overnight with Dad tonight while I work the midnight shift. When I left them at Grammy's house Olivia was playing baseball with Dad and Ava was riding the mower with Grampa. It seems like we might just be OK.
