Friday I really, really wanted to get some stuff done. I had dreams I tell ya.
I decided to start off by hiking from Martin Rd to Mashpee to get to my work physical. I would arrive sweaty but I didn't care. After a good blood work up I collected Lilly and we hiked back to the car. A nice 5 miles on a beautiful morning.
After some lunch and an unplanned nap I was worried the day would be a waste but I was able to salvage it by making this happen. I love this couch, it was a great hand me down from my bestie but I couldn't seem to make it work. The vibe was never right. Next my Mom passed on a this rug that was too big for her house. With just a little reorganizing and laying the rug it just seems to be so right now. Ava even lit some candles on the mantle and we are all in love with it.
The girls headed to their Dad's after dinner because I worked a Midnight but I didn't want to miss the Harvest Moon. I decided to take a ride to see it before another nap.
The best view was Rt 28. I was getting peaks and just gasped as I came up the hill by Smitty's Ice Cream. The moon was so giant it filled the opening as wide as the road. I wish I had just parked in Dunkin Donuts and sat. I quickly drove to Menahaunt and although it wasn't as big it was awesome to see both the sunset sky in one direction and the moon in the other.
Thank you Mother Nature. You have taken my breathe away once again.
