Running a little late but here is a little wrap up of our last week of school.
I have had an IEP meeting for each girl. Olivia has finished 6th Grade and Morse Pond School. Ava has finished 4th grade and Teaticket School. Both has a good plan for success next year. Both got good report cards with comments saying they had put in a good effort and were happy kids.
Future Seventh Grader!
The Forth Graders went to the Red Sox game o Friday night. 100 students and family. Because we had a group of 100 they randomly picked one kid and they got to stand on Home plate and our school was acknowledged by the announcer as she was smiling huge on the Big Screen for all to cheer.
The weather was beautiful and we had a lot of fun even though we got our butt kicked. It was a great last hurrah for these kids.
Monday after school we were already on Summer thinking so I packed up the girls, their friends, chairs, kites and boogie boards and we voted on Wood Neck Beach. I even got a chance to fly a kite which was wicked fun.
I think we are officially on Summer Thinkin'.
Finally, on the real last day of school I was able to finagle the last day of school as a half day like the girls did. Most kids head to the beach. We are lucky to be able to do that. Sadly we aren't going to be able to spend long days here as I am working days and they are at camp but we can party hardy after 4pm.
Summer is all what you make it.
