This paper hangs on my Fridge. We have a few of these pictures, sayings and signs around. Like one day they caught our eye or needed to be remembered. Today I looked at this again and smiled.
Last night we went to the drive-in so we hit the hay after 1am I think. I woke up about 7 and sat out on my picnic table to drink some coffee, let the dog play and start my day. It is starting to be part of my regular day. I really like it.
The kids were still sleeping so we snuck out to the grocery store at about 8 to get the weeks shopping done.
Once I got home for some reason I can't get over the mess in my driveway so while the kids played on the trampoline I swept my driveway. Sounds like la-de-da but in fact it was a good hour of sweeping and many snow shovels of sand and cat litter carried away. Looks beautiful now!
Lilly was alone yesterday for the whole evening so we decided to walk down the bog to this sweet little spot for the kids to play and she could swim.
From here we were walking along a dirt road while Olivia rode her bike along. We were headed to Aunt Cindy's house to swim in the pool and have dinner.
All of a sudden I just realized what a cool day it was. A good day with the kids, skin in the sun, walking along a back road.
I felt happy like this before, a while ago. It has been elusive lately.
I felt it return today.
