Walk and Talk

Ava has been showing a great interest in adding miles to  the mileage club at school and I figured we can do this together. It is good for me and good for them. Yesterday we needed to pick up her party invites at Staples so why not walk from school to Staples. It was colder than I had originally thought so it was kind of a whiny walk for Olivia (Blah!) but I encouraged her to hang and we could get dinner after.
A side advantage is the talking. I love that part.
After Dinner at Betsy's with Nana I swung by the beach for a peak at the sun going down. Boy was it windy! The kids got out of course and played in the wind until I was cold just looking at them.
Again no chores got done but exercised my heart. :)
