As you can see that is still lingering as a problem. I totally enjoy picking the kids over the housework but a tiny bit of me looks around and says-See you didn't get half the cleaning done that you should have on your day off and now you have to go back to work.
So let's get started.
I woke up to Olivia packing snacks and lunches for the 2 of them. 2 jobs I didn't have to do.
After dropping them at school I headed over to get my blood drawn and back to school to help with the Art Show. It is one of my favorite volunteer activities. I hung the art for 3 class rooms and then had lunch with each girl. It works out perfectly as they have lunch right after each other. I snuck in a quick chat to find out Ava is doing well and behaving.
I came home to some laundry and finally met the bus.
I was roasting a chicken for dinner and Olivia took over the rest. She made a terrific salad and we all had a picnic dinner on our front lawn. Way fun I might add.
While I cleaned up the picnic Olivia took it upon herself to take Ava in the backyard and practice her 2 wheel riding. She does not know how to ride without training wheels so Olivia held her on her own bike. Not bad but it was decided she would fit better on her own bike so I got her the tools and she took them off herself. I think this is going to be a very busy Summer.
Either that or we are going to get our bucket list done my May and sit on the beach for the Summer.
