Charging station

Everyone needs their own charging station. I am learning how different everyone's is.
What you think is recharging just may not work for me and vice versa. I see people gushing over days at home in their pajamas and I think Oh, no.
I am actually in a place where I can not relax in my house. I am not able to release the guilt about not doing something if I am home. I can't just sit without thinking about the packing I should do, the closet that needs to be emptied, the laundry that needs to be done, the dishwasher, the lawn......you see where I am going with this.
I know it is a problem and will be addressed in the future when the whirlpool slows down.
So for now, I get out.
I went out with my sister-wife and her friend on Saturday night. The weather was fantastic so we could walk Main Street Hyannis and park ourselves outside on the sidewalk for dinner and some drinks. People watching and laughing was had by all.
I got a terrific nights sleep and started my day early in hopes of getting in a long walk before if got too humid. Well that sort of worked. While walking past a bank with the temp on their sign I noticed it said 71. I think it was about 8am. This is going to be a great day, almost 5 miles under my belt before 9.
I decided to be good to myself and only set up a skeleton plan.
I put on a sun dress that let me catch some rays and I headed to do some shopping in Plymouth. Scored a great deal on shorts for the girls and got a sweet pair of shoes and a cupcake T shirt for myself.
No complaints there.
By the evening I was able to sit on the porch with Bonnie and chat. This is always relaxing for me and wish we had more time to do it.
Groceries in an empty store??? No traffic going over and coming back to the Cape on the Bridges???
The cosmos were on my side for sure today.
I woke up this morning feeling good, no I would say great even though it was 5:45 and I was headed to work. There is something to be said for these recharge days. I have 1 day off and it felt like about 3. I have always been a multitasker so I guess it can work on relaxing too.
The girls are coming home today and we have a big week coming up with their dance recital.
Proud post to follow next weekend.
