Shirley Temple

Isn't it always the way that if your a little girl with curly hair-you hate it and want it straight or if you have pin straight hair like my daughter-You want it curly.
While at the store yesterday she is trying to talk me into buying her hair rollers. I am like-No, I am not spending money on that. Not a necessity, it ain't happening.
I tell her I have some ideas.
Once home I send her to the shower after dinner while Chelsea and I search the Internet. I had a vague idea in my head but we found the answer.

Yup, those are tube socks. We rolled sections of her hair around the socks and then tied them into knots. I gave her an extra squishy pillow from the sofa and off to bed she went. In the morning I was surprised at how well they had held up. The only thing I might have done differently was use smaller sections of top but it was dry and so super curly in the morning. It was also pretty easy.
So if you need Shirley Temple curls over night try the knots.
