Turkey Hangover

Actually that is not entirely true.
I did pretty good this year and DID NOT end up in a food coma. I did work the day shift as my girls were with their Dad and I didn't want to lose out on some quality Holiday pay.  I mean Santa is trying to load his sleigh.
I came home to a delicious meal made by Nana and Lily. That was excellent. They cleaned up the house and set the table. I got to jump in and whip the potatoes and spray some water on the clothes so I looked like I had worked hard-LOL!
I was happy to spend time with my sister and my Mom. The stepford kids must have replaced our kids because they were all well behaved and ate their dinner.
I am back to work now after 4 days off and this uniform isn't a happy place to be so I guess I need to be working off this broccoli with cheese sauce before it finds a permanent home in my backyard.

Now that the turkey has been boiled into some damn good soup I guess it is time to head into our next Holiday. The thing is it just doesn't feel right when the calender still says November. I brought up 1 ceramic Christmas Tree for my from window but the rest might just have to wait.
The good news is I want to do it this year. I have weekends and nights off, my heart is singing again and I am looking to have a great year so let's start the celebrating this year.
