I am slowly become one and the love affair is growing day by day.
Funniest thing is today a friend on Facebook posted a link to a Slow Cooking blog which I hitchhiked onto.
I already have my 1st recipe picked out.
I am currently eating thru the remainder of the Thanksgiving turkey soup that I painstakingly cooked over 2 days between cooking down the bones for stock and then assembling the soup itself. Now I am looking to swing the opposite way. Last night was fish and tonight....oh, tonight.
I left for work with my crock pot full to the brim with corned beef, potatoes, whole baby onions, carrots and brussel sprouts. I imagine when I return home my house will smell of fatty beef and cabbage and I don't care. I will add a dollop of butter and be in heaven.
My next will be this: Pasta Fagioli and I can't wait. I think I might just swim thru this Winter on soups in the crock pot. So follow the link above, even if you don't like this soup she has tons of other things to cook in the crock pot and you won't even break a sweat making them.
