Swing, swing, swing......

I am at the end of my rope and I am pissed that I haven't left myself enough to hang.
Damn it! I always go 1 step too far.

I just did all the nicey-nice with my kids and read for half an hour in my bed. I told them they needed to be good as it was not going so well in the "following the rules" department and 15-20 minutes later all I can hear is giggling and screwing around.
So being the Mother of the Year that I am I marched up and separated them to their own beds and told them they had lost TV for the whole rainy day tomorrow. I also said my next step is taking the nightlight away and a spanking.
I have had enough.
I also explained I was tired of always doing for them and getting no respect from them. They could find someone else to wash there favorite clothes, cook meals and buy them all the crap they don't respect.
Yeah, it was one of those kind of nights.
For any of you out there that would like to make a comment I would advise against it.
I know that was a sucky thing to do but the damage is done. It was said and now I am a shitty Mother. Thanks.
As I type this I believe I just heard the door open so I may pop over to another screen looking for the number to the "Don't Kill Your Kids" Hotline. 
Ha,ha,ha I hear it just gets better when they turn 12, 15, 16.
Lord give me strength.
