Newsworthy news

As typical of normal newspapers and news shows we are always hearing the shit. This child killed, 400 more soldiers lost, cars crash, earthquake, blah, blah, blah....
So today's post will be dedicated to what a good day I am having.
The top picture is the good deed someone decided to do for the PD yesterday and drop off those heart attack bombs-otherwise known as Red Velvet Cupcakes. I am happy to say I did in fact only stick my finger in a tiny bit of frosting and I moved on. Ok , not true I may have come back and smelled them a couple of times but hey as I have said I have an illness.
Below is my new pair of kicks. LOVE THEM!!! I would suggest Bayside Runner to any and all peeps that are putting their feet to the pavement. I walked in and talked the owner-yes, the owner is the guy behind the counter not a H.S. student getting paid $8/hr. I told him I was getting back into it and needed the best shoe for a girl that usually loves them in the store and is in pain after a week of running. He brought me a pair of shoes and put me on a treadmill where he videod my feet walking along. He then slowed it down and looked at my steps. He then put my feet on this pad that showed him my arches. He also looked at the bones in my ankles. None of this was special treatment, he would do it for everyone. I walked out with a pair of sneakers I love. They feel dreamy and I am back on the road. You will need to put away your need for "pretty" sneaker because they were not chosen by me because I liked the looks, they were chosen for my feet. Better idea if you are not wearing them for fashion.

Started my day with the whole school morning hay-may and then I tucked my new ear buds (the 2nd best gift I bought myself this week) in and walked off from the bus stop once they were on the way. Guess what? It's Hot out today-even at 8:43am. Anyway I got in 40 minutes of hard sweaty walking. I added a few jogging parts but I didn't want a ride home in an ambulance and decided I would take longer distance walking over short run.
Now I am sufficiently exercised, fed and cleaning deep crevices of this house that desperately needed it. On a side note-How does some of that stuff get under the bottom basket of your freezer? That's just gross and I am glad I own gallons of bleach.
Tonight-Picking up the kids at the bus stop, dinner out with Nana then a quick nap before the Midnight shift.
So is my life and I am living it with a smile on.
