1st we checked out a smurf event at a local toy store. It was the end of the day so it was winding down and wasn't exactly worth a trip out of my way. A toy store stop usually ends up with a lot of No's and crabby kids anyway. I am still learning my limits and I should avoid this kind of crap.
On a good note the movie ended up being better than I expected. I am an original Smurf fan so I had some high expectations and it turned out to be pretty funny.
I do not remember a Scottish Smurf but I am now a fan.
As soon as we walked in we bumped into Roshawn. He is a friend of Ava's from school. After we bought our popcorn Ava states that if Roshawn is in the same movie she is watching it with him.
Ok, we'll see.
Sure enough he was there with his family and Ava leaves us. They move down a seat so she can sit with Roshawn. I think it turned into a date.
The best part for me was to here her loud voice from across the aisle laughing and making comments about the movie. At one point I am laughing and I hear her loud voice saying-That's my Mom laughing over there.
She kills me.
Well she was sure to tell me that she didn't share her Skittles with him. Good, little girls shouldn't be handing out their candy at your age kid. He should be taking you out to dinner first. ;)
