Sandcastles at the Commons

If the Summer has more days like today this is going to be a great Summer.
Today we met my sister's family at the Mashpee Commons for their 3rd annual Sandcastle competition. It was a beautiful day. All the kids got a bucket and shovel and they had piles of sand to play in.

The professional sculptures make magic out of sand. There was music and food vendors and plenty of sunshine.

After we took a walk through the Commons and the girls made a wish in the fountain. We hit all the important places:toy store, book store and candy store.
We also had lunch outside in the sun.
It was a good day fit in nicely before working my 1st evening shift on the new schedule. I used to be a whiz at fitting in fun before work at 4pm. I am hoping to get that back so we can squeeze in more cool stuff over the next few months before school starts.
