Best Mother's Day EVER!

It was a Hula-Hooping kind of day.
Today Canobie Lake Park offered free admission and lunch to Mother's who brought a child. Damn, Nana and I had to bring the kids! Only joking. They allowed me to bring my mom and the kids got me in so it was a deal. We left here with blue sky and drove straight into fog at the Bridge, typical. After some spots of rain we arrived to mostly sunny skies with a few raindrops and a wind that required sweatshirts. No complaints here.
It worked out great having 2 adults so everyone could ride anything we wanted. Olivia is now tall enough to ride everything and she pretty much wanted to. This is where Ava and I got to work on her hula skills while Olivia did something else.

She was not against riding rides for the little kids so Ava wasn't alone.

Neither was Nana!!
Olivia started telling me a few days ago that she wanted to ride this roller coaster. I went along with it but figured she would bail on me once she saw it in real life.
Nope, no she did not.
I had to hold her hand but all she did was giggle the whole ride and begged to ride it again. I think due to the special pricing for the day the place got packed fast and we never did get back to riding it again.

Mostly because she rode this-The Boston tea Party-about 10 times. No it was not warm enough but when you are a kid you forget things like hypothermia when you are giggling so much. We also met up with a 9 year old girl who became her partner in crime and rode it over and over again. She had dry underwear in the car, I did not. Better them than me.

She also rode this alone with her friend and then Ava decided she needed to ride it so we all rode it together.

By 4 o'clock it sounds like this:
Just 1 more time on the Boston Tea Party Mom, PLEEEEZZZZEEEEE!
Fine, then we are leaving it is a school night.
Laughing by parents around us.
It was more like 3 more times, then we hobbled out to the car where she whimpered while I peeled those frozen clothes off her and bundled her up in multiple layers of dry clothes. See a well prepared Mother brings this stuff plus pillow pets and blankets. I'm no dummy!
After scarfing down dinner like they were homeless kids, we sang and told Mother jokes for the ride home.
They were awesome and the day was excellent.
Gee, it seems I am posting a lot about terrific days lately doesn't it?
I don't want to jinx myself so just pretend I didn't day that.
