You know I am a visual learner but again I forgot my photos so I will just write and add my photos later.
Yesterday was a near Tornado but it was also a half day of work/school and I was damned if I would waste it.
I learned another lesson-If you think you hate leaves in the Fall you will REALLY HATE them in the Spring, especially if it is like my yard and they are wet, packed and full of your neighbors trash.
I raked up about 10 loads onto a sheet and hauled them over the stockade fence out back. So rake, haul and lift means my whole body hurts today. Good-You old goat, you need it.
I also fixed the stone wall that was massacred by the mailman and plows over the Winter. Somehow I am missing a top stone but I have a few extras.
I still have about 6 more loads of leaves just in the front yard alone and I have a friend coming over to trim some branches on the tree out front. It will come together slowly.
I WILL have mulch this year if it kills me. I need to think about the veggie garden and it's future, moving some hydrangea's and the lawn. Weeds and Grubs need to be annihilated this year.
I have a couple of days off over April vacation and keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain and I will get some shiz-nit done out there.

If you make a little wall of eggshells around a plant it keeps out grubs,slugs,etc. They hate the sharp edges.
