Weekend Update

 Friday night's date night was a huge success. We laughed and laughed and that was my goal. We left the Cape right after everyone was picked up from their after school programs. 1st stop was Target to get our Halloween costumes. This was hysterical to say the least. We have one evil Spiderman-with huge muscles of course and 1 Cleo"patrick". I attempted to teach her how to say it the right way but eventually gave up as it was too funny to hear them both saying it. I was surprised she made this choice until I found out that Cleopatra was in a Scooby Doo movie they had seen. I told her we would work on learning about the real Cleopatra because she was a queen. Olivia was thrilled to hear this as we all know she thinks she is a queen as well. We had dinner at Red Robin and then walked along the stores in Wareham Crossing as it was a beautiful night to be outside. We finished with an ice cream cone and were headed home about bedtime.

Saturday the girls were off with Dad for the weekend and Chelsea and I were off to Octoberfest at the Mashpee Commons. What a great time we had full of laughs and beer. I found a love for funky pumpkin beers. This is of course all new to me again. Don't ask me where to go, I don't know, just take me and I am up for it. If I can get a UFO or a Pumpkin Ale I will definitely be in.
Sunday was full of cleaning and laundry up to my armpits and work. I picked up an evening shift so I was able to work with my fav's for the night but had to be back at 8am Monday. Needless to say I have been acting like a 25 year old for a few days and am exhausted. Tonight, early to bed......wait I said that last night and failed miserably. You only live once.
