Happy Birthday!

Another year has gone by. I am not one to deny my age but I will admit it is getting up there. To be 30 again. No maybe 35 would be good.
We will not dwell on that. I have a feeling that this is going to be the year that changes my life's path forever. So far the changes are subtle but I can already feel myself getting off an exit of the old highway and getting on another headed in a different direction. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of construction work on this road but I am slowing making my way. I smile a lot more during my drive and that is the point isn't it?

Sunday, I was treated to a very special dinner at Red Robin. My daughters claim it is my favorite restaurant. Um, OK we can roll with that. I was happy to receive some awesome and well thought gifts. Below is my new Webkin. An owl, as everyone knows how I love owls. I have not seen much of him as he spends most of his time with Olivia but she is a good Mom. I am angry that I have still not downloaded the photos I took of Bonnie's presents because it included more of my favorite things- owls, her art and cupcakes. She rocks!
My Mom got me a new camera because mine has taken a beating and needed at a minimum of $100 to repair. I have been putting it off as I didn't want to be without a camera while I sent it away and I didn't want tospend the money. So I am hoping to be clicking some photos again soon. My new cell phone is great but the pictures it takes are not as good. My sister came up with a gift that I so love but never thought about. I can now plug my Ipod in and listen in my car. LOVE IT! After my CD player broke I sometimes wear my Ipod while driving. I know, I know- dangerous, against the law. Now I just have to find it. My kids are just as addicted to Pink and Fergie as I am so they are constantly stealing it. I will be digging through every Princess pocketbook in the house this weekend.

I worked yesterday with my other lovely and she presented me with these. Click Cake Pops! Anything that says cake and Click is dear to my heart. Touch them and I might bite your hand. There were a few more but I was eating them on the way home from work. They are a fudgy dream on a lollipop stick, dipped in chocolate and rolled in Click.Only a couple things better than this in the world but we aren't going to talk about that right now-LOL!

I was worried about this year. This year is going to be full of "1st year I am doing things on my own" but I think it was a good birthday especially the parts I can't blog about **wink,wink**
