As I have said many times, I wing it.
I have no plan and no man so the storm preparation is half assed at best. I took in the sandbox toys, the pool ladder, flags and trash cans. I looked around at the bigger items and just grimaced. I see storm coverage that shows cars and boats thrown around like matchbox-if that hits I am screwed anyway.
The kids went with their Dad to Gramma's house so I have no worries about them. They have plenty of supplies and resources for whatever happens.
I am stuck at work for 16 hrs tomorrow and possibly a good part of Saturday if the storm hits hard so I am packing extra food and a toothbrush tomorrow and praying it ends up turning into a gnarly but manageable storm I can watch and enjoy when I get out of work.
I am amazed at how people panic. Information is provided but becomes twisted and misread which only leads to unsafe situations for them. Calm down and Listen People!
Easy for me to say-I will be here in a climate controlled room with a generator in case we lose power and a crock pot full of pulled pork.

Don't sweat this one. It'll be no big deal, in my opinion.
