6 Flags New England

Sunday my sister and I headed to Agawam and 6 Flags. Alone-no kids just 2 girls and the coasters.
I was not sure I could hang on this big boy below-Superman or Bizarro as it is called now. We decided to start with the smaller coasters and work our way up.

We left early and made it there by 10:30 in the morning. It was Latin Festival so Chelsea said to expect the crowds. I was a bit worried as I wasn't really in the mood to stand around for an hour and a half thinking about the terror or the coaster. I had also mistakenly watched some of these coasters on You Tube-not a good idea.

This was what it looked like from the intersection of 3 pretty big rides-looking back towards the entrance. See anybody? It was like we broke into Wally World when they were closed. We walked onto the first coaster and then rode the big wooden one with about 4 other people. It was hot as H-e-l-l so we decided to jump on the white water rafting ride next. As we were walking down the empty lines the attendant is yelling-Hurry up here comes a boat-EMPTY. It was crazy.
This is the other side of the park right in the middle of 3 major roller coasters and the road towards the Water Park. It was interesting to say the least. I will only say that I live a very sheltered life here on Cape Cod.
I think we stayed and people watched for a bit too long because next we headed to the Batman and as I sat in the seat and looked ahead at the track that basically went straight up I started to panic. I am saying to my sister - No I need to get off. I can't do this. A handsome boy comes in front of me, snaps in my seat belt and says I know you can do it-you will be fine and walks away. I am about to pee my pants.
After the first hill I am laughing and thinking I want to ride it again and again. The adrenaline was awesome-like you could take on the world.
It was also at this point that I realized I could do it all here. The last time I came here I could not ride some of the rides and never came back because I knew I was getting bigger and didn't want to stand in line for an hour only to have the seat belt not fit. It was a great feeling. I walked right by the practice seats out front with a smile.
Next we headed to the Mid Eraser-Line shown above. Crazy-Town!
The only ride that we did wait for was the biggest of them all. We waited about 15-20 minutes which is nothing for this ride. I am glad I did it and proud to say I did. I will not have the patience to deal with the amount or smell of all those people during the Summer but would love to head back in the Fall when the crowds clear out once again.
Anyone have the guts?? Join us.
