What are you doin'??

IT'S VACATION PEOPLE!

I wish I was more in tune to the weather reports but I am not, so I plan on winging it for now. I have decided the best plan is to put all the grown up things on the back burner and party a little with the girls. We want to go walking or hiking as they like to call it is some old places and some new. I would like to get out on our bikes too. I am in the market for a bike rack for my car or else we will be kind of stuck around our house which isn't very safe.
I really wanted to go to the new Disney Movie "Ocean" but the earliest movie is Thursday at 2:40 and I have to work so that may have to wait.
I think this is a perfect week to regroup with the girls as I feel like I have been just going through the motions for the last 2 weeks.
Today as I was getting ready to leave my Mom and the girls started some seeds in trays. This was a good sign. I just need to get the garden in shape so it is ready when the plants are.

I had a pretty good day yesterday. After dance class we went to play with Bonnie and Carlie. They love her so much and it was good to get them off the TV and using their imaginations a bit. When it rains they lean so heavily on Disney and Scooby Doo to entertain themselves and I just haven't had the energy to fight that. They then headed to Gramma's for the night and I had some plans with the girls. This was a nice reunion of the WPG's of New Hampshire. Snacks, chat and good friends was just what I needed. Everyone was headed home early and who wants to waste an overnight babysitter so I decided to stop by Fig's birthday party. Although it rained a bit they had a good fire going and more good friends so the rain didn't matter. I was able to re-connect with people I hadn't seen since all these big changes have happened and I felt much better after.
All in all, the day was just what I needed and ended with a full nights sleep.
My motto for now is just: Some days are going to be good and some are going to suck but we have to keep moving forward to get to a better place.

I like that motto... It sort of reminds me of "Some days your the windshield. Some days your the bug"... Aint it the truth!!!!!
