The week in review

I spent way too much time looking for a photo to depict my week but I think this just about covers it without causing any of my readers to become sick themselves.
Let's see.......We will start way back last Monday night when I get a call from 2 of my loves-Daddy and Ava calling to say they are up(11:40pm) and waiting for me to come home-Oh,Joy! See at this time Ava had already thrown up twice in her own bed and was now snuggled into our bed as Dad had run out of water proof protection for her bed.
I am on my way home just picturing the future-Sour breathe in my face, sweaty feverish body glued to mine and the crinkle of trash bags always close by in case we can't make it to the "baffroom".
This continued until Wednesday. Temp topped out at 101.8 and then the vomit went away only to be replaced by it's evil sister. This continued until yesterday. The poor girl is not eating but is at least drinking so we have been offering mostly Gatorade or Popsicles to try to keep her from getting dehydrated. I popped her on the scale a couple of times but she isn't losing any significant weight so we just trudged on with A LOT of couch cuddle time, TV and early bed.
I also had a little hiccup with my computer which I think I fixed myself but I also thought I lost a bizillion photos but they were really just hidden in a dark closet. The bad side is I have been without a computer at home. Usually I counteract the Spongebob shows with some time at least reading the newspaper or blogging a bit during the day. Not this week.
Due to her illness, Ava has been pretty good this week. I think she may just be too weak to be evil or maybe she is maturing-she is almost 4 you know?
By the weekend we were a little mobile again with a beautiful outside Birthday party on Saturday. Although she still wasn't eating I thought the fresh air and sunshine would do her good. By Saturday night we had tucked them in with Nana and gussied ourselves up for a grown up party for Erin's birthday. I just wish I had evidence...I mean photos but I forgot my camera. More good food, family, friends and fun.
Much needed after all the Bleach, laundry and Lysol of the week.
It is all looking up for this week-Hopefully!
