The kid unloads off the bus. Her friend is busy and can't come over and play so we walk back to our house.
What are we going to do?
I jump on the computer just to check that in fact the deal is still on for Friday nights. YES!!
They have been great this week. I ask - Do you think you are up for a road trip that is going to be long? YESSS!!!
I tell them to pack a blanket and pillow as we won't be home until after bedtime. They are so excited they are scrambling around.
I grab a backpack-stuff it with dry clothes (the bubble room and Peeps Big World room are soakers), snacks, juice and computer games for the ride. Drive thru for dinner is met with big cheers. McD's has ICarly toys!!

We set up a plan and after a bit of a detour were able to pick up Nana to join us. I am so glad she was feeling better enough to make it because we have missed her lately. Both girls were terrific even though we stayed until 9pm. We walked the long way back to the car so we could look at the building and bridges all lit up. I had to hear all the stories about which building Daddy built-??

Ava was out like a light quickly. Olivia was still up and giggling when we dropped Nana at her car in Brockton. She began requesting tacos at about 10pm. She finally passed out after I had to feed her again and exhaustion took over.

We all finally passed out in the big bed and slept late. All in all the traffic sucked and made us later than I had expected but they were awesome and it was well worth the time.
Thank You Target for the $1 admission!!!
